Cyberabad Municipal Corporation Demolishes 21 Illegal Buildings in Enforcement Drive

The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation carried out an enforcement drive against unauthorised under-construction structures on Thursday, demolishing 21 illegal buildings across Serilingampally, Kukatpally, and Quthbullapur zones.
During the drive, field inspection teams surveyed multiple locations across the three zones and identified a total of 54 unauthorised constructions. Following the inspections, municipal teams razed 21 of the identified illegal structures to enforce compliance with civic building norms.
Among the demolitions carried out across the zones, Serilingampally recorded the highest number with nine illegal buildings brought down. Kukatpally and Quthbullapur recorded six demolitions each.
In addition to the demolitions, civic officials issued 14 formal notices to violators and sealed one building. Municipal authorities stated that the remaining 33 identified unauthorised cases will be taken up for demolition and further administrative action as per official procedure.
Cyberabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner G Srijana directed town planning and enforcement teams to maintain daily inspections across all circles. The Commissioner instructed officials to closely track and monitor unauthorised constructions across the region to ensure strict adherence to established building regulations.
