Cyberabad Municipal Corporation Clears 345 Encroachments Across Three Zones

The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) announced on Friday that it had removed 345 encroachments along 12.45 kilometres of roads across three zones, including Kukatpally, Serilingampally, and Quthbullapur.

The Quthbullapur zone recorded the highest number of clearances during the drive, with authorities removing 161 encroachments across a total stretch of 4.6 kilometres. Within Quthbullapur, Jeedimetla saw the maximum action with 38 removals, followed by Kompally with 32, Dundigal with 22, and Gajularamaram with 21. Other areas in the zone included Medchal with 18 removals, Nizampet with 17, and Chintal with 13.

In the Serilingampally zone, a total of 116 encroachments were cleared. The Serilingampally locality accounted for the bulk of the action with 80 removals, followed by Miyapur with 28 and Ameenpur with eight.

In the Kukatpally zone, civic teams removed 68 encroachments covering 3.35 kilometres of roadway. Madhapur led the zone with 23 removals, followed by Kukatpally with 20, Moosapet with 15, and Allwyn Colony with 10.

CMC Commissioner G. Srijana said that all the cleared stretches would continue to be closely monitored by officials to prevent any re-encroachment. The ongoing monitoring is intended to ensure that reclaimed roads, footpaths, and public spaces remain open and accessible to citizens.
