Cyberabad CP M. Ramesh Presented With Book by Dr A Sharath Reddy in Financial District
Cyberabad Police Commissioner M. Ramesh was presented with a copy of 'The Uncharted Artery – Heartfulness Compass' at an event held at Medicover Hospitals in the Financial District on Saturday. The book is authored by senior interventional cardiologist and Heartfulness trainer Dr. A. Sharath Reddy.
The volume brings together the author’s professional background in cardiology and his practice in meditation. It comprises 25 essays that examine issues such as stress, work pressure, uncertainty, and the demands of modern life.
Throughout the collection, the author emphasises the necessity of mental calm, emotional balance, and clarity of thought alongside maintaining physical heart health.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Reddy highlighted the connection between mental stability and medical practice. He noted that while cardiac care typically focuses on the physical heart, a practitioner's mental state plays a significant role in decision-making during high-pressure situations. He stated that every moment is vital in cardiac care, adding that while hands execute the procedure, a calm and clear mind directs critical decisions.
Commissioner Ramesh noted that police personnel frequently face high-stress environments where important decisions must be made, making mental composure and clarity especially crucial in their line of work. He commended Dr. Reddy for combining his practical medical insights with meditation techniques in the publication.
