Couple found dead at Janwada village home, Mokila police launch investigation

A married couple was found dead on Sunday morning, June 28, 2026, at their residence in Janwada village, located under the Mokila police station limits in Rangareddy district.
The deceased have been identified as 32-year-old Balasai and 29-year-old Padma. The couple, who had been married for approximately one-and-a-half years, were the parents of a five-month-old baby boy.
According to the police, the tragic discovery was made by family members on Sunday morning. Relatives found the couple hanging inside their house and immediately alerted the Mokila police.
Following the alert, police personnel rushed to the scene in Janwada village. The officers conducted a preliminary inspection of the house and the surrounding area. After completing the necessary legal formalities at the site, the police shifted the bodies of Balasai and Padma to a hospital for a post-mortem examination.
