Congress Trains Wardhannapet Booth Level Agents on Electoral Roll Revision

On Saturday, the Congress party organized an awareness seminar at Satya Sai Gardens in Madikonda, located within the Wardhannapet Assembly constituency of Hanamkonda district. During the event, party leaders instructed Congress Booth Level Agents (BLAs) to remain highly vigilant during the ongoing special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls to ensure accuracy and transparency.

The seminar was chaired by Wardhannapet MLA K.R. Nagaraju and featured an address by Hanamkonda District Congress Committee (DCC) president and Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (Kuda) chairman Engala Venkat Ram Reddy. The session focused on familiarising party representatives with the technical and legal aspects of the ongoing SIR exercise.

Speaking at the event, Venkat Ram Reddy emphasized that the revision of electoral rolls is an essential process to ensure that all eligible citizens can exercise their right to vote. He directed the BLAs to work actively at the grassroots level to enroll all eligible voters while closely monitoring and ensuring the removal of ineligible or duplicate entries from the voter list.

"The strength of the party begins at the polling booth level," Venkat Ram Reddy said during the seminar. "A strong and vigilant BLA network is essential for protecting the integrity of the electoral process and strengthening the party organisation."

MLA K.R. Nagaraju also addressed the gathering, stating that BLAs would play a key role in maintaining transparency in the electoral process and preparing the party for future elections. He stressed that it is vital for the agents to thoroughly understand the legal and procedural aspects of the SIR exercise to carry out their duties effectively.

Several prominent party leaders attended the program in Madikonda. Among those present were TPCC Women’s Wing president Errabelli Swarna, TPCC general secretary Duddilla Srinubabu, and Hanamkonda District Kisan Congress chairman Pingili Venkat Ram Narasimha Reddy, along with other local party leaders.
