Congress MLC Addanki Dayakar Accuses BRS of Staging Drama to Align With BJP

In Hyderabad, Congress MLC Dr Addanki Dayakar has accused the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) of staging political drama to project itself as the main opposition party in Telangana. Speaking ahead of upcoming elections, Dayakar claimed the BRS is attempting to strengthen its bargaining position to secure an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
During an address to the media, Dayakar alleged that the BRS is trying to establish itself as the number two party in the state with the sole intention of aligning with the BJP. He stated that the party's leadership is currently engaging in these activities because they believe the BRS has no future otherwise.
Dayakar also took aim at the absence of former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) from active politics. He pointed out that while KCR remains away from the public eye ahead of the elections, his son and son-in-law are the ones driving the political drama in the Telangana political arena.
The Congress MLC issued a direct challenge to the former Chief Minister, calling on him to return to active politics and face the public. Dayakar stated that if KCR is indeed still in politics, he should come forward directly rather than remaining absent while other family members orchestrate political dramas in front of the people of Telangana.
Furthermore, Dayakar characterized the BRS as a "leaderless party" and claimed that the citizens of the state are closely observing these political tactics. He accused the BRS of relying on a campaign of propaganda against the newly formed Congress government and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. According to Dayakar, the opposition party has consistently made allegations against the state government to sustain its political presence.
