CMC Demolishes 26 Unauthorised Structures in Kukatpally and Other Zones

The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) carried out an enforcement drive across its limits on Tuesday, September 1, demolishing 26 unauthorised constructions in multiple areas, including Kukatpally.

During the day's field-level inspections, CMC enforcement teams identified a total of 36 unauthorised constructions. In addition to the demolitions, officials seized one unauthorised construction and served notices to 10 other property owners.

Among the areas inspected, the Quthbullapur Zone recorded the highest number of demolitions with 11 structures dismantled. Serilingampally followed with eight demolitions, while Kukatpally saw seven unauthorised constructions pulled down by the civic authorities.

The civic body stated that 26 of the 36 identified constructions were demolished during the enforcement drive. Officials confirmed that the remaining 10 properties will be taken up for further action in accordance with the prescribed procedure and applicable regulations.
