CMC Demolishes 19 Unauthorised Buildings Across Kukatpally and Other Zones

Town planning enforcement teams under the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) demolished 19 unauthorised under-construction buildings on Saturday, including four structures located in Kukatpally Zone.

The demolitions were executed as part of an enforcement drive across three civic zones. According to an official press release, CMC teams identified a total of 26 unauthorised constructions during the inspection operations.

Alongside the demolitions, officials served notices to 12 properties. Action against the remaining seven identified buildings is pending and will be carried out under prescribed procedures.

Among the 19 demolished structures, the highest number was recorded in Serilingampally Zone, where nine buildings were brought down. Six unauthorised constructions were demolished in Quthbullapur Zone, and four were razed in Kukatpally Zone.

CMC authorities stated that field-level identification and enforcement teams are continuing operations to ensure full compliance with building regulations. The civic body reiterated that all identified unauthorised constructions will face necessary action in accordance with applicable rules and prescribed procedures.
