CMC Demolishes 19 Illegal Under-Construction Buildings Across Three Zones

Town planning enforcement teams of the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation demolished 19 unauthorised under-construction buildings across three zones on Saturday as part of a targeted enforcement drive in Serilingampally, Quthbullapur, and Kukatpally.

According to an official press release, the enforcement teams identified a total of 26 unauthorised constructions during their field inspections. The civic authorities served 12 notices to violators, while the remaining seven identified structures are slated to face further administrative and enforcement action in accordance with prescribed procedures.

Of the 19 structures razed during the operation, the highest number of demolitions took place in the Serilingampally Zone, where nine unauthorised buildings were pulled down. In the Quthbullapur Zone, municipal teams brought down six illegal structures, while four unauthorized under-construction buildings were demolished across the Kukatpally Zone.

Municipal officials stated that field teams are continuing ground-level identification and enforcement operations to ensure strict compliance with building regulations across all corporation limits. The civic body reiterated that all identified unauthorised constructions will face necessary enforcement measures under applicable rules and prescribed legal frameworks.
