CMC Demolishes 14 Unauthorised Under-Construction Buildings in Hyderabad

The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) demolished 14 under-construction buildings on Friday, August 28, as part of its ongoing enforcement drive against unauthorised constructions in Hyderabad.

During the day, field inspection and enforcement teams deployed by the civic body detected a total of 22 unauthorised constructions across the area. Out of the 22 structures identified, 14 were demolished by the enforcement teams, while notices were served in two other instances.

The civic body stated that the remaining six cases identified during the inspections are currently being processed for subsequent demolition action. These actions will be carried out in accordance with prescribed procedures and applicable regulations.

Following the enforcement drive, the CMC Commissioner directed Town Planning and enforcement officials to maintain continuous field-level inspections and monitoring to identify and act against unauthorised constructions.
