CMC Commissioner Reviews Land Acquisition for 1.79 Km Kondapur Flyover

Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) Commissioner G. Srijana visited Kondapur on Thursday, June 18, 2026, to inspect the site and review the land acquisition progress for the proposed Kondapur flyover project. The infrastructure development is being planned under the Hyderabad City Innovative and Transformative Infrastructure (H-CITI) project.
During her inspection of the locality, Commissioner Srijana evaluated the current status of the land acquisition required for the project. Following her assessment, she directed Town Planning officials to expedite the acquisition process. The Commissioner emphasized the need to accelerate these procedures to facilitate the commencement of road widening works at the earliest.
The proposed development includes a bi-directional flyover that will span a length of 1.79 kilometers, covering both the Miyapur and Allwyn Junctions. A foundation stone was recently laid for this bi-directional flyover, which represents a key component of the H-CITI infrastructure plans for the area.
According to an official press release, the road widening associated with the project is expected to bring major relief to the local transport network. The administration anticipates that the completed works will significantly improve traffic flow, reduce daily congestion, and enhance commuter convenience along the busy Kondapur Main Road corridor.
