CMC Commissioner G Srijana Inspects Quthbullapur And Medchal Wards

Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) Commissioner G Srijana conducted a field inspection and interacted with local residents on Tuesday to address key civic issues in Hyderabad's Quthbullapur Zone, Medchal Circle, and Gundlapochampally Ward. The visit and interaction were organized as part of the municipal corporation's 'One Day, One Ward' initiative.
During the visit, Commissioner Srijana was accompanied by the Zonal Commissioner, the Deputy Commissioner, and officials from various municipal departments. The team visited multiple residential colonies in the area to conduct on-the-ground inspections and review civic issues requiring immediate attention.
Representatives from local Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) and residents met with the official team to highlight several ongoing problems in their neighborhoods. Among the primary infrastructure concerns raised were the need for repairs to damaged manholes, the clearing of blocked drains, and pending road repair works. Residents also pointed out issues regarding new and non-functional street lights.
In addition to infrastructure, the community members raised concerns about public health and sanitation. These included the rising mosquito menace, the need for regular fogging, a lack of sanitation equipment, and stray dog nuisance. Issues related to drinking water supply and waste management were also discussed during the interaction.
Following the inspections and discussions, Commissioner G Srijana directed all concerned departments to take up the identified civic issues on a priority basis. She instructed the officials to coordinate with respective external agencies wherever required to ensure a timely resolution for the benefit of the residents.
