CM Revanth Reddy to Inaugurate Rs 52-Crore Moosarambagh Bridge on Aug 31

HYDERABAD — Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is set to inaugurate the newly constructed bridge across the Musi River at Moosarambagh on August 31.

Ahead of the opening, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner R V Karnan visited the site on Saturday to inspect the bridge structure, its approaches, and allied infrastructure. During the inspection, Karnan reviewed the on-ground arrangements required before opening the facility to public traffic.

The commissioner directed civic officials to expedite and complete all remaining pending works prior to the scheduled inauguration date. These directives cover completing road approaches, installing essential safety measures, ensuring proper lighting, developing pedestrian facilities, and finishing up the final civil works.

Built at an estimated cost of Rs 52 crore, the new bridge is intended to significantly boost connectivity and improve vehicular movement between Amberpet and Moosarambagh. The infrastructure is expected to cut down travel time for daily commuters and alleviate chronic traffic congestion along existing arterial routes in the area.

According to project specifications, the newly developed structure measures 400 metres in length and 14.5 metres in width to ensure smooth vehicular passage across the Musi River. In addition to accommodating vehicle flow, the bridge features dedicated 3.5-metre-wide footpaths on both sides to facilitate safe and unobstructed movement for pedestrians.
