CM Revanth Reddy Launches Rs 83 Crore Water Project and HAM Roads in Nalgonda

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy visited Nalgonda district on Sunday to launch multiple key infrastructure development projects, including laying the foundation stones for an ₹83 crore drinking water project and initiating the construction of Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) roads. The Chief Minister's tour of the region featured a foundation ceremony in Kanagal and a major public meeting at the Nagarjuna Degree College.
State Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, along with several other public representatives and local officials, participated in the day's events. The launched initiatives are aimed at strengthening the infrastructure of the district.
During his visit, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stone for the first phase of the Nalgonda Municipal Corporation's drinking water project. This initial phase involves the construction of a new water treatment plant at an estimated cost of ₹83 crore. The project is designed to improve the local drinking water supply for the residents of the municipality.
Following the water project launch, the Chief Minister transitioned to Nagarjuna Degree College in Nalgonda to attend a public meeting. At the college venue, he addressed a gathering of local residents and party workers.
In addition to the water infrastructure, the state government formally launched the construction of HAM roads from Nalgonda district. The official foundation ceremony for this road connectivity programme was held in Kanagal. At the site, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy unveiled the project's pylon, marking the formal commencement of the road development works.
Local officials and representatives noted that these combined projects are expected to improve both the drinking water supply and regional road connectivity, contributing to the overall development of Nalgonda district.
