CM Revanth Reddy Concludes UK Tour, Urges Diaspora to Back Telangana Rising Goals

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is set to arrive in Hyderabad on Monday morning after concluding his scheduled official events and meetings in the United Kingdom.
During his tour in the UK, the Chief Minister met with representatives of various universities and extended an invitation for them to collaborate with the Telangana government. He also invited the institutions to set up their international campuses in Hyderabad.
On Sunday morning, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Information Technology and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu interacted with members of the Telugu diaspora in London. The leaders emphasised that non-resident Telanganas should actively participate as partners in the state's growth. They urged the diaspora community to serve as effective ambassadors for the state by promoting the 'Telangana Rising' objectives on global platforms.
During the visit, the Chief Minister expressed his gratitude for the backing he received from Congress party national president Mallikarjun Kharge, party leaders, and citizens across the country regarding the central government's denial of permission for his proposed travel to the United States. He noted his appreciation for the support extended to him on the matter in the national interest.
The Chief Minister returns to Hyderabad amid growing calls within the party leadership seeking action concerning endowments minister Konda Surekha and her daughter K Sushmitha. Minister Surekha stated that she plans to speak directly with the Chief Minister upon his arrival in the city.
