Cloudangles Opens Global Engineering Centre in Hyderabad, to Onboard 1,000 Engineers

California-headquartered deep-tech and enterprise technology company Cloudangles has established its global engineering centre in Hyderabad. Telangana IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu officially inaugurated the new facility, which aims to onboard 1,000 engineers over the next two years.

The new global engineering centre builds directly on the company’s GCC-as-a-service and value centre models. These operational frameworks are designed to help enterprises move beyond traditional technology delivery, guiding them towards dedicated engineering, innovation, and technology capabilities.

Speaking after the inauguration event, Cloudangles Chief Executive Officer N. Revathipathi stated that Hyderabad will play an important role as the firm builds this operational model for global markets. He explained that the company’s build-operate-transfer approach enables enterprises to establish dedicated technology and engineering centres, scale up teams and capabilities, and progressively build greater ownership of their technology organisation and intellectual capital.

The Hyderabad facility will function as an engineering and technology base for Cloudangles’ global clients while also serving as a platform for long-term co-innovation. It is set to enable enterprises to develop advanced capabilities in key operational areas such as artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, automation, digital engineering, and product development.

IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu welcomed the expansion, stating that when global companies choose Hyderabad to build capabilities for their international businesses, it reflects a strong vote of confidence in the local talent and ecosystem. He noted that the state's focus is to deepen the talent and capabilities that make the city attractive to global businesses, adding that talent is viewed as infrastructure and that investments like Cloudangles' facility help strengthen that infrastructure by creating high-value engineering jobs.

The IT Department noted in a release that Cloudangles’ entry adds a deep-tech dimension to Hyderabad’s growing global capability ecosystem. With core capabilities spanning artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data, software engineering, automation, and quantum computing, the company strengthens the city’s overall appeal for global enterprises seeking to build advanced technology and engineering capabilities.
