Close to One Lakh Telangana Voters Submit Electoral Enumeration Forms Online

HYDERABAD — During the ongoing special intensive revision of the electoral roll in Telangana, close to one lakh voters have successfully completed and submitted their electoral enumeration forms online. Election officials announced that residents have until July 24 to opt for the online filling of the form.
The digital facility is designed for voters whose names match exactly on both their Aadhaar card and their Voter ID. According to officials, this online option enables eligible voters, including those who are temporarily unavailable or residing abroad, to update their electoral details through the citizen service portal at voters.eci.gov.in.
Officials explained that during the enumeration phase, if a voter is temporarily not available, the online enumeration form can be downloaded and submitted online.
To access the service, voters must navigate to the portal where the option is listed below ‘SIR – 2026’ on the top left of the page, next to the option to ‘Search Your Name in the Last SIR’. Once a user selects ‘Fill Enumeration Form’, a login dialogue box appears requiring them to enter either their mobile number or their EPIC number to request a One-Time Password (OTP).
Officials emphasized that a voter’s mobile number must be linked to their Voter ID (EPIC) to proceed. If the number is not linked, voters are required to first fill out Form 8 on the same portal, which allows them to update their mobile number instantly.
Once the EPIC number is entered, the voter receives an OTP on their registered mobile number linked to Aadhaar. After the voter fills out the enumeration form and completes the authentication with Aadhaar, the transaction is treated as an e-sign. This digital submission then reflects directly in the booth-level official’s mobile application, allowing them to update the electoral data accordingly.
