Class 10 Student Stabs Private School Director to Death in Kondamallepally

A Class 10 student has been taken into custody for allegedly stabbing a private school director and teacher to death at her residence in Kondamallepally mandal of Nalgonda district, police confirmed on Wednesday.
The victim was identified as Kallu Roopa Reddy, who served as the director and a teacher at Nagarjuna School. She was found dead with multiple stab wounds on her stomach and neck at her residence last week.
According to Nalgonda police officials, the victim was alone at home when the attack occurred. The incident came to light after her husband, who was away in Hyderabad at the time, became concerned when she failed to answer his repeated telephone calls. Unable to reach her, he contacted neighbours to check on her.
The neighbours subsequently alerted the local police, who entered the residence and discovered the woman dead with severe injuries. Police officials noted that the wounds appeared to have been inflicted with a knife or another sharp weapon.
Addressing reports regarding the severity of the attack and claims that the victim sustained 27 stab wounds, a police official stated that she had suffered multiple injuries across her body. However, the precise number and nature of the wounds will be confirmed once the formal post-mortem examination report is received.
Following a complaint filed by the victim’s son, the Kondamallepally police registered a murder case. Police confirmed that the accused Class 10 student from the same school has been taken into custody. An investigation is currently underway to determine the motive behind the fatal stabbing.
