Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju Reviews Key Industrial Projects At Hyderabad Secretariat

Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju chaired a high-level review meeting on Friday at the Secretariat in Hyderabad to assess the progress of major industrial infrastructure projects across Telangana. The meeting with senior officials focused on accelerating industrial growth, attracting domestic and global investments, and creating large-scale employment opportunities in the state.
During the session, Sanjay Jaju evaluated the ongoing development of flagship initiatives, including the Bharat Future City, Zaheerabad Industrial City, and the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park, alongside other strategic industrial infrastructure projects.
K Shashanka, the Managing Director of the Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC), briefed the Chief Secretary on the current status of these projects. He presented details regarding the infrastructure being created, potential investment prospects, and the specific timelines set for their completion.
Chief Secretary Jaju emphasized that the primary goal of the Industries and Commerce department must be to position Telangana as a preferred investment destination. He noted that this can be achieved by providing industries with world-class infrastructure and establishing a business-friendly ecosystem.
According to Jaju, attracting both domestic and global investments is vital for sustaining the economic growth of Telangana and generating large-scale employment opportunities for the local youth. He directed the officials to maintain a clear focus on achieving the goals envisioned by the state government.
To prevent delays, the Chief Secretary stressed that all government departments and implementing agencies must function in close coordination. He instructed officials to regularly monitor the progress of the ongoing projects, identify any potential bottlenecks at an early stage, and resolve them through effective inter-departmental coordination.
Jaju highlighted that flagship projects like the Bharat Future City, Zaheerabad Industrial City, and the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park possess the potential to transform the industrial landscape of Telangana. He added that these initiatives would promote balanced regional development across the state.
Closing the meeting, the Chief Secretary urged the officials to adopt a proactive approach in providing the necessary infrastructure and investor facilitation services to ensure the successful and timely implementation of these key projects.
