Chevella MLA Kale Yadaiah Demands Jobs for Local Youth at Solar Plant Event

On Thursday, 9 July 2026, Chevella MLA Kale Yadaiah demanded employment for local youth in newly established industries and sought major infrastructure funding during the inauguration of a solar module manufacturing plant in the Chevella constituency, which includes Sitarampur, Chandanvelly, and Machanpally villages. Speaking at the same event, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy addressed these concerns by outlining the State's employment strategy and directing support for displaced farming families.
Yadaiah pointed out that while land had been acquired in Sitarampur, Chandanvelly, and Machanpally villages for industrial projects, local youth were not being recruited. He argued that jobs should be provided to local youth based on their eligibility, contradicting the Congress government's claims on employment generation.
Highlighting that 1,200 acres of land had been acquired in Sitarampur alone for industries, Yadaiah demanded that farmers who parted with their land for these projects be allotted residential plots.
The MLA also raised concerns over the poor condition of roads in villages across the constituency. He urged the State government to allocate Rs 200 crore to each of the three municipalities in the Chevella constituency and Rs 20 lakh to every Gram Panchayat for developmental works.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy responded to the concerns by explaining that companies are currently laying off employees due to the impact of artificial intelligence, making it difficult to secure white-collar jobs. To counter this, Reddy said the State government is creating infrastructure to generate blue-collar jobs. He highlighted the establishment of a Skills University and the upgrading of ITIs into Advanced Technology Centres to support local youth.
The Chief Minister directed the Rangareddy Collector to provide housing to families who had given up their land for industrial projects. He also stated that commercial complexes should be constructed to create livelihood opportunities for these families. Reddy thanked the local farmers for parting with their land for the solar manufacturing unit.
Additionally, Reddy mentioned that a 100-metre-wide road from Budwel to Kodangal is under construction and scheduled for completion by 2028. Addressing opposition parties, the Chief Minister asked to be allowed to work, noting that the public had given a mandate for five years.
