Chennadi Sudhakar Rao elected Hyderabad Boat Club president unopposed

Chennadi Sudhakar Rao and T. Amarender Reddy have been elected unanimously as the president and secretary of the Hyderabad Boat Club for the upcoming 2026-28 term. The official announcement of the election results for the prestigious 94-year-old institution in Hyderabad was made on Saturday.
The election officer, S.B. Madhusudan, formally declared the entire executive committee elected unopposed. This uncontested result occurred because no other nominations were filed for any of the key leadership positions within the organization, ensuring a smooth transition of power for the historic club.
The newly elected president, Chennadi Sudhakar Rao, brings a wealth of leadership experience back to the Hyderabad Boat Club. Over his 23 years of dedicated service to the institution, Sudhakar Rao has previously served 19 years in the role of president and four years as the club's secretary. His return to the presidency marks another chapter in his long-standing governance of the club.
Joining Sudhakar Rao and T. Amarender Reddy on the newly formed executive committee are several other key officials who were also elected without opposition. Enugu Muralidhar Reddy has been elected as the vice-president of the club. C.A.B. Narender Rao will take on the role of joint secretary, while K. Dharanidhar has been chosen as the treasurer.
In addition to the main executive officers, several members were elected unopposed to the club's Managing Committee. The newly appointed Managing Committee members include A.M. Raja, G. Kiran Kumar, Nikunj Anil, N. Likhitha, P.V.R. Reddy, and Seshagiri Rao Thummala.
Together with the executive committee, these newly elected representatives will oversee the operations and governance of the historic club for the 2026-28 term. The unopposed election establishes the leadership that will guide the 94-year-old institution through the coming years.
