Centre Approves Mallareddy Deemed University Near Renigunta in Tirupati

BRS MLA Mallareddy announced on Friday that the Central Government has approved the establishment of the Mallareddy Deemed University near Renigunta in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. Speaking to the media after offering prayers at the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) temple, the legislator shared that a Telangana-based education group is setting up the new institution to benefit higher education students from Andhra Pradesh and the Rayalaseema region.
Mallareddy stated that the Centre has officially issued the approval letter for the establishment of the Mallareddy Deemed University. The announcement follows the MLA's visit to Tirupati, where he performed darshan at the temple before addressing media personnel.
According to Mallareddy, establishing an educational institution in the temple town of Tirupati has been a long-held ambition. Recalling his previous birthday prayers, the MLA said he had specifically prayed for the opportunity to set up a college in the area. Soon after making the wish, he acquired the necessary land, constructed the college facility, and renovated the campus.
Reflecting on his 30-year history in the education sector, Mallareddy noted that he has established several schools, medical colleges, and engineering colleges across Telangana. He claimed that these existing institutions have successfully produced world-class doctors, engineers, and pharmacists.
The upcoming Mallareddy Deemed University near Renigunta represents the expansion of this Telangana-based education group into Andhra Pradesh. Mallareddy expressed his happiness that the group is now establishing a university in the neighbouring state, which he said would directly benefit students from both Andhra Pradesh and the Rayalaseema region.
