Businessman Found Dead Near Gundlapochampally Lake After Going Missing With Rs 10 Lakh

A businessman was found dead under suspicious circumstances near a lakeside area in Gundlapochampally on Monday morning after going missing with cash. The deceased has been identified as Nemaram Chowdary, a resident of the same locality.

According to police, Chowdary had left his residence carrying Rs 10 lakh and subsequently failed to return. When he did not come back, his concerned family members approached the police and formally lodged a missing-person complaint.

The search ended on Monday morning when Chowdary's body was discovered lying near the lakeside area in Gundlapochampally. Police officials suspect that the Rs 10 lakh in cash he had been carrying was missing from the scene.

Investigators are currently probing the circumstances surrounding the death from multiple angles, including whether Chowdary was murdered for the money. The body has been shifted to a government hospital for a post-mortem examination to establish the exact cause of death.

Police are questioning family members and gathering additional information as part of the ongoing investigation. Chowdary is survived by his wife and four children.
