Burglars Steal Gold, Silver and Rs 21 Lakh Cash From Habeebnagar Businessman House

In the early hours of Wednesday, unidentified burglars broke into the locked residence of a local businessman in the Habeebnagar area of Hyderabad, escaping with a significant cache of gold, silver, and cash.

The house belonged to businessman Shaik Akbar Mohiuddin, who was away from the city. According to local authorities, the burglary took place while Mohiuddin and his family members were away on Umrah.

Taking advantage of the empty house, the intruders managed to gain entry by breaking the latch on the main door. Once inside, the miscreants ransacked the cupboards to search for valuables.

The victims reported a loss of 20 tolas of gold, 15 tolas of silver ornaments, and Rs 21 lakh in cash, which the burglars successfully carted away.

Following the incident, the Habeebnagar police launched a formal investigation. Forensic teams, including CLUES teams and fingerprint experts, visited the crime scene to gather evidence and collect fingerprints.

To crack the case, the police department has formed a special team to probe the burglary. Investigators are currently scanning footage from CCTV cameras in the Habeebnagar locality to identify the culprits and establish their escape route.
