BRS Alleges Irregularities in Fourth City Land Allotment to CM Revanth Reddy's Brother

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) spokesperson Manne Krishank on Monday accused Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of misusing his official position to allot five acres of valuable land at Raviryala in Maheshwaram mandal to a company linked to his brother Anumula Kondal Reddy. Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad, Krishank demanded the immediate cancellation of the land allotment, a full-scale impartial probe into the transaction, and the resignation of the Chief Minister to ensure an unbiased investigation.

Krishank stated that 20,234 square metres in the proposed Fourth City area was allotted to Tesseract Advanced Systems Private Limited, a firm where Kondal Reddy serves as chairman. He alleged that the land was handed over for approximately Rs 7 crore, calculated at around Rs 3,707 per square metre, despite its actual market value exceeding Rs 100 crore.

Raising questions about the firm's background, the BRS leader claimed that Tesseract Advanced Systems Private Limited has a share capital of merely Rs 1 lakh and operates from a small premises in Patancheru without any workforce. He further alleged that the company is involved in aerospace and defence manufacturing despite lacking the mandatory licence from the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).

Krishank also highlighted irregularities in the firm's financial claims, pointing out that the company reported foreign exchange earnings of around Rs 1 crore despite having no operational manufacturing facilities. He questioned how an entity with such credentials was able to secure prime land at the stated rate.

Furthermore, the BRS spokesperson questioned the silence of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders and the Central government regarding the alleged irregularities. He also cautioned the United States Consulate authorities after the US Consul General shared a dais with Kondal Reddy at a recent event, claiming that such public engagements send wrong signals to state investors and the public.
