The body of a five-month-old baby was found abandoned in Mailardevpally Park in Hyderabad on Wednesday morning, prompting a swift response from local police. The discovery was made by local morning walkers who were using the park facility during the early hours of the day.

Upon noticing the infant's body lying inside the park premises, the shocked morning walkers immediately contacted the local police department to report the situation. Police personnel rushed to the spot shortly after receiving the alert to secure the area and begin their initial inquiries.

The police subsequently recovered the body and shifted it to the Osmania General Hospital (OGH) in Hyderabad. Medical professionals at the state-run hospital will conduct an autopsy on the five-month-old baby to help investigators determine the exact cause of death.
