Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters Opens Second Hyderabad Flagship Store in Banjara Hills

Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters has expanded its presence in Hyderabad with the opening of its second flagship store in Banjara Hills. The new launch, which represents the brand's fifth concept store in India, aims to provide local coffee enthusiasts with specialty brews and immersive coffee experiences.

The newly opened Banjara Hills flagship store is designed to offer visitors a deeper dive into the world of coffee. Customers at the outlet can learn about coffee origins and understand the complexities of different beans. The store features a "Play Bar," where guests can explore various brewing methods.

In addition to its specialty coffee offerings, the Banjara Hills location has introduced an expanded food menu developed specifically for this flagship format. The menu includes items not typically found in standard cafés, such as handmade ravioli and elaborate breakfast options. According to the company, all food and beverages are prepared fresh and made to order.

Shivam Shahi, the co-founder of Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters, explained that the brand was founded nearly a decade ago with the vision of becoming the go-to brand for high-quality coffee. Shahi noted that while India grows exceptional coffee beans, historically most of the best produce was exported, leaving domestic consumption limited and focused on lower-quality coffee. This created a perception that India did not produce great coffee, which Blue Tokai aimed to change by encouraging domestic consumption of specialty coffee.

Currently, Blue Tokai operates as India's largest specialty coffee company, with a presence across seven cities and more than 258 locations nationwide. The brand caters to home brewers, office consumers, and café-goers.

Looking forward, Shahi revealed that the company plans to open more than 30 stores in Hyderabad in the coming years. The brand also intends to host interactive workshops and sessions focused on coffee brewing and appreciation to foster a local community around coffee.
