BJP Protesters Detained Outside Sayeedabad School Over Religious Homework Controversy

On Thursday, the Hyderabad Police detained several Bharatiya Party (BJP) leaders and workers during a protest held outside Success, The School in the Sayeedabad neighborhood of Hyderabad. The public protest was triggered by a controversy involving a school teacher who allegedly assigned religious homework to a Class 2 student.
The demonstration took place just hours after the school administration terminated the services of the teacher, identified as Shaik Aisha Parveen, who faced accusations of assigning the religious homework to the young student. In its official termination letter, the school administration stated that Parveen has also been permanently disqualified from seeking any future employment within the Success Group of Education Institutions.
Following the controversy, BJP leader Andela Sriramulu Yadav and a group of party workers gathered outside the school premises to stage a protest. Addressing reporters at the scene before he was detained by the police, Yadav questioned the school's actions. He demanded the immediate closure of the school, the removal of the principal, and strict action against those who were allegedly responsible for the incident.
In addition to Yadav, the Hyderabad Police also detained BJP leader and advocate Karuna Sagar at the protest site. Sagar explained to media personnel that he had arrived at the school specifically to question why a First Information Report (FIR) had not yet been registered by the police regarding the matter.
Sagar expressed his strong objections to the school's conduct and demanded the arrest of the school principal. He alleged that the principal was forcing innocent students to read the Quran.
The protest caused a tense situation outside the school campus in Sayeedabad, prompting the police to intervene and detain the protesting BJP leaders and workers to maintain public order in the area.
