BJP Leaders File Complaint Against Anasuya Bharadwaj at Borabanda Police Station

Local Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders have lodged a complaint against popular actress and television anchor Anasuya Bharadwaj at the Borabanda Police Station in Hyderabad. The saffron party leaders have accused her of making inappropriate remarks regarding the Hindu religion and demanded legal action against her.

According to the complaint filed by the party leaders, Bharadwaj's recent comments have hurt the religious sentiments of crores of Hindus. The political leaders expressed strong anger over the issue and warned Bharadwaj to exercise caution while speaking on social media platforms.

The controversy follows recent comments made by Bharadwaj alleging that some people were indulging in attacks in the name of 'Jai Shri Ram'. Her statements drew strong objections from the BJP leaders, who subsequently approached the police demanding legal repercussions for hurting religious sentiments.

Responding to the complaint, Bharadwaj stated that she would not back down. In a statement released on her social media page, the actress addressed the issue and said that some people were deliberately misinterpreting her words to manufacture an entirely different narrative.

Bharadwaj further clarified that her comments were focused only on a particular set of people and were never intended to target any religion, any community, or any faith.

The Borabanda police have officially registered the complaint against the actress and are currently looking into the matter.
