BITS Pilani Opens Hostel Fee Payment and Issues BITSAT 2026 Reporting Rules

The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, has commenced the hostel fee payment process and issued official campus reporting instructions for candidates admitted to First Degree programmes under BITSAT Counselling 2026. The instructions apply to students allotted seats across BITS Pilani campuses, including the Hyderabad campus.

Candidates who have accepted their admission offers must pay the required hostel fee prior to arriving at their allotted campus on the scheduled reporting date. BITS Pilani instructed students to complete these payments online and save a copy of the payment receipt, which will serve as proof during the in-person verification process.

To assist incoming students, the institute released separate hostel and student welfare guidelines tailored to the Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses. Officials advised candidates to read these campus-specific guidelines thoroughly before traveling to avoid administrative issues during reporting.

Admitted candidates must physically report to their designated campus on the specified date while carrying all necessary original documentation. The institute specified that candidates must present an admission offer letter signed by both the student and a parent or guardian.

Required academic documents include the Class 10 marksheet and passing certificate, the Class 12 marksheet, and a School Leaving, Transfer, or Migration Certificate. Candidates must also provide identity documentation, specifically a self-attested copy of their Aadhaar Card and an APAAR ID if available.

In addition to academic records, students must submit a Medical Fitness Certificate prepared in the prescribed format, alongside proof of payment for hostel fees and other relevant institutional fees.

Candidates are further required to provide a candidate undertaking confirming that they have not secured admission at any other educational institution. Where applicable, an Affidavit-cum-Indemnity Bond must also be submitted. Prescribed formats for the medical certificate, undertakings, and affidavits must be downloaded prior to reporting.
