BikeWo and Hala Mobility Sign MoU to Deploy 1,000 EVs in Hyderabad

BikeWo Green Tech Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Hyderabad-based Hala Mobility on August 13, 2026, to explore the deployment and management of electric vehicle fleets in Hyderabad. Under the agreement, the companies plan an initial Phase I deployment of approximately 1,000 electric vehicles.
The collaboration aims to combine BikeWo's capabilities across electric mobility and fleet operations with Hala Mobility's participation in the mobility ecosystem. The proposed initial deployment of 1,000 vehicles is intended to establish a foundation for developing a scalable EV fleet operating model. Following the initial phase, the companies have set a strategic intent to scale the fleet to approximately 10,000 vehicles over the next three years.
Under the terms of the first phase, BikeWo and Hala Mobility will work towards establishing a framework covering EV deployment, fleet utilisation, vehicle management, and related operational requirements. Further expansion of the fleet will be evaluated based on operational performance, commercial viability, and market requirements.
Highlighting the operational requirements of the sector, Hiten Pal Saklani, Chief Executive Officer of BikeWo Green Tech Limited, said, "Electric fleet adoption is increasingly moving towards models that require not only vehicles, but also strong capabilities in deployment, utilisation, maintenance, technology and fleet management."
