Banjara Hills Skin Clinic Booked For Using Dental And Homeopathy Doctors

The Telangana Medical Council (TGMC) has initiated legal action against V Care Clinic, located at Road No. 1 in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, after a surprise inspection on Monday, June 1, 2026, revealed that unqualified doctors were performing specialized skin treatments at the facility.

During the surprise visit, the council's inspecting team detected that the skin care clinic was actively indulging in unethical medical practices. Specifically, the officials found that skin-related treatments on patients at the clinic were being performed by three dental doctors and two homeopathy doctors, who do not possess the required medical qualifications for such dermatological procedures.

Following the inspection, a formal case was filed against the clinic under Sections 34 and 54 of the National Medical Commission (NMC) Act.

The inspection team from the state medical council comprised Dr Kiran Kumar Thotawar, the Vice Chairman of TGMC, Dr Vishnu Kadali, a TGMC member, and Dr Jalagam Vijay, a Healthcare Reform Doctors Association (HRDA) member.

In an official press release issued on Monday, the TGMC stated that any Registered Medical Practitioners who are found to be promoting such unethical practices will face thorough investigations. The council warned that these medical professionals could potentially face the suspension of their medical licenses for violating established medical ethics regulations.

Furthermore, the council has escalated the matter to local administrative and health authorities. The TGMC has officially recommended to both the Hyderabad District Collector and the District Medical and Health Officer (DM&HO) that the V Care Clinic premises in Banjara Hills be immediately seized.

The council has also urged these authorities to initiate strict legal action against the management of the clinic for engaging in such unauthorized activities and employing unqualified personnel to perform skin treatments.
