Badruka Educational Society partners with SCSVMV for temple management course

On Saturday, 27 June 2026, the Badruka Educational Society in Hyderabad entered into a formal academic partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya (SCSVMV), Kanchi. The primary purpose of this collaboration is to jointly offer a specialized certificate programme in Temple Management.

The official MoU document was exchanged in the city by Kishanji Badruka, who serves as the secretary of the Badruka Educational Society, and Prof G Srinivasu, the vice-chancellor of SCSVMV.

According to the partnering institutions, the newly introduced certificate programme aims to train and create a structured cadre of dharma-aligned volunteers. These trained individuals will be prepared to support various temples by taking on both advisory and operational roles, thereby assisting in temple administration.

Looking ahead, the collaboration is not limited solely to temple management. The Badruka Educational Society and SCSVMV intend to collaborate in other relevant academic fields in the future. This broader partnership is designed to pave the way for joint initiatives that will ultimately benefit students, faculty members, and society at large.

The signing ceremony was attended by several key representatives from both participating organisations. Among the prominent attendees was Prof M Raja Shekhar Reddy, the director of the Badruka PG College Centre.

Representing the visiting institution was Prof K Venkatraman, the dean of science at SCSVMV. Other dignitaries present at the event to witness the signing of the agreement included spiritual scientist VCR Murthy and CMO Poornachandra Murthy.

This joint educational initiative marks a structured effort to combine academic training with volunteer service for temple administration, linking the Hyderabad educational group with the university based in Kanchi.
