AWPO Secunderabad Placement Drive Provisionally Selects 97 Ex-Servicemen

The Army Welfare Placement Organisation (AWPO), Secunderabad, conducted a placement drive for ex-servicemen across technical and non-technical categories, resulting in the provisional selection of 97 candidates.

Organised under the aegis of HQ Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA), the recruitment initiative saw participation from 165 ex-servicemen looking to transition into corporate and technical roles.

The placement drive was held in collaboration with several prominent private sector firms, including Air India SATS, Muthoot Finance, ICICI, SBI Life, and TATA AIA Insurance, among others. The event also received active support from the Magic Bus Foundation.

According to an official release, the 97 provisionally selected candidates are currently in the final stage of documentation. The candidates have sought time to gather and submit the necessary paperwork, after which final appointment letters will be issued by the respective employers.

AWPO stated that the strong turnout and response from both candidates and participating companies reaffirm its commitment to supporting the ex-servicemen community in pursuing second careers after their military service.
