Auto-Rickshaw Catches Fire in Jillelaguda, Owner Suspects Son-in-Law

A fire broke out in an auto-rickshaw during the early hours of Monday in DNR Colony, Jillelaguda, located under the limits of the Meerpet Police Station.

Upon noticing the fire, the owner of the auto-rickshaw alerted the police by calling the emergency number 100.

Local residents who noticed the flames acted swiftly to extinguish the blaze. The fire was successfully brought under control by the locals before police personnel reached the scene.

Following the incident, the vehicle owner submitted a complaint to the police alleging that his son-in-law was involved in the fire.

The Meerpet police have registered a case based on the complaint. An investigation is currently underway to ascertain the exact circumstances and causes that led to the incident.
