Auto Carrying Water Tank Gets Stuck in Manhole at Bandlaguda X Road

An auto carrying a 500-litre water tank became stuck in a manhole near Bandlaguda X Road in Hyderabad on Saturday, sparking concern among residents regarding the poor condition of local civic infrastructure.

The incident occurred when one of the wheels of the three-wheeler got trapped directly inside the damaged manhole on the road. The weight of the 500-litre water tank left the vehicle immobilized.

Upon noticing the vehicle trapped in the open hazard, local residents rushed to the spot and made efforts to pull the auto out of the manhole.

The mishap has highlighted growing safety worries among the area's residents regarding the state of roads and damaged manholes. Following the incident, locals urged municipal authorities to intervene immediately and carry out necessary repair works on damaged manholes and road stretches to prevent further accidents and ensure the safety of pedestrians and motorists.
