Attapur Police Arrest Five and Seize MDMA in Hyderabad Drug Bust

The Attapur Police on Thursday arrested five individuals and booked two others in connection with the illegal possession and sale of narcotic substances in the Attapur area of Hyderabad. During the operation, law enforcement officials successfully seized a stash of contraband, which included 6.65 grams of MDMA, Mephentermine Sulphate injections, Alprazolam tablets, and syringes.

The five arrested suspects have been identified by the police as Syed Abul Hassan, Saif Ali Mirza, Ahmed Hussain, Shaik Ayub, and Mir Shabbir Ali. In addition to these five individuals, the police booked two other suspects who are currently evading arrest. These absconding individuals have been identified as Baquar and Mujahid, who is also known by the alias Mujju.

According to the police, the suspects were involved in a network where they allegedly procured the illicit narcotic substances from the absconding supplier. Once the drugs were sourced, the suspects would then sell them directly to local consumers in order to generate a profit.

Following the arrests and the recovery of the drug stash, the Attapur Police registered a formal case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. The police have launched a search operation to track down the absconding accused. Officials stated that efforts are actively continuing to apprehend both Baquar and Mujahid.
