Attapur Police Arrest Automobile Thief, Recover Stolen Hyundai i20 and Laptop

The Attapur Police on Wednesday arrested an automobile thief and recovered a stolen Hyundai i20 Asta car along with a laptop from his possession.

The accused was identified as 30-year-old Syed Mazher, alias Takla, a resident of Upparpally in Rajendra Nagar, Ranga Reddy district. Police stated that Mazher is a habitual offender who had previously been involved in several property and bodily offence cases.

According to the police, the theft occurred on August 22 at around 11:30 pm. The suspect noticed that vehicle keys were placed near a valet counter and took advantage of the staff's busy schedule. He allegedly stole two keys, identified the targeted Hyundai i20 using the key fob signal, and drove away in the vehicle.

Investigators noted that Mazher had recently been released on bail before continuing his criminal activities. Following his arrest, the police seized the stolen car and laptop, and further investigation is currently underway.
