Arvind Iyer Wins Brilliant Trophy Open Online Chess Tournament

Arvind Iyer won the Brilliant Trophy Open Online Chess Tournament on June 24, 2026, after securing 11 points out of 12 rounds in the competition reported from Hyderabad.

The tournament saw a close contest for the top spots. Sriharish finished as the runner-up, securing second place with a score of 10.5 points. A Vishwa claimed the third position, finishing with 10 points from his 12 rounds.

The final standings for the top ten players were confirmed at the end of the tournament. Mahendra Teja finished in fourth place, followed by Krishna Kishore Rallabandi in fifth place.
