The Indian Army has announced a recruitment rally under the Unit Headquarters Quota, which will be held at Mukhtair Hall, AOC Centre in Secunderabad from August 10 to October 11, 2026. This recruitment drive is aimed at enrolling eligible youth into various Agniveer categories, including General Duty, Clerk/SKT, Tradesmen, and Outstanding Sportsmen and Musicians.

The multi-week event provides a structured recruitment opportunity for young aspirants looking to join the Indian Army. The rally will cover multiple positions, specifically Agniveer General Duty (GD), Agniveer Clerk/SKT, Agniveer Tradesmen 10th Standard, Agniveer Tradesmen 8th Standard, and Outstanding Sportsmen & Musicians under the Open Category.

Aspiring candidates under the Outstanding Sportsmen (Open Category) must report at Mukhtair Hall, AOC Centre, Secunderabad, by 6 a.m. on August 6, 2026, for their sports trials. Following this, candidates for the Agniveer Tradesmen 10th Standard (Musicians only) are required to report at the same venue, Mukhtair Hall, by 6 a.m. on August 7, 2026, to take their aptitude test.

The age limit for all the categories participating in this recruitment rally is set between 17.5 and 22 years. The educational qualification required for the Agniveer General Duty (GD) role is a Class 10 or Matric pass, with candidates needing at least 45 percent marks in aggregate and a minimum of 33 percent in each subject.
