Applications Close Today for Telangana Government's Indiramma Houses in Hyderabad

August 10, 2026, is the final day to submit applications for affordable flats under the Telangana government’s Indiramma Houses scheme within the Core Urban Region (CURE) limits of Hyderabad, including the Secunderabad Cantonment constituency. Lottery draws to select the final beneficiaries are scheduled to begin on August 20, 2026.

As of Saturday evening on August 8, 2026, the State Housing Board had received 35,125 applications for 7,340 available flats. Citizens looking to submit their applications on the final day can do so through MeeSeva Centres, the official website, or by using the designated WhatsApp number at 8096958096.

The housing scheme was initially announced by the state government on July 20, 2026, as part of the first phase of an agenda to construct one lakh houses in the Core Urban Region. Under this initial phase, the government planned the construction of 7,680 flats across housing towers located in 16 Assembly constituencies.

Each flat offered under the Indiramma Houses project features a built-up area of 528 square feet and a carpet area of 400 square feet. The state government is providing a subsidy of ₹5 lakh for each flat. Beneficiaries who are selected through the upcoming lottery will be required to pay ₹6 lakh, which is structured to be collected across four installments.

While plans called for distribution across constituencies, local restrictions in the Secunderabad Cantonment constituency mean that the total number of flats constructed there will be fewer than 480.
