Anvita Khammam Aces Beat Karimnagar Diamonds by Eight Runs at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium

Anvita Khammam Aces secured a thrilling eight-run victory over EIPL & eleve Karimnagar Diamonds in a late-night Sreenidhi University TG20 League match at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad on Friday.
Defending a formidable total of 213/6, the Aces withstood a rapid, record-breaking batting performance from the Diamonds' Satwik Reddy to seal the win.
Batting first, the Aces suffered early setbacks when openers Wafi Kachchhi and Mayank Gupta were dismissed for zero and two runs respectively. K. Himateja stabilized the innings with a counterattacking 56 off 33 balls, reaching his half-century in 24 deliveries. Himateja built a crucial 99-run partnership off 48 balls with G. Sai Krishna Reddy, who scored 43 runs before being trapped lbw by Ashish Srivastav.
Following the partnership's break, the Aces lost further wickets, including Prateek Reddy for 19. However, Mickil Jaiswal and captain CV Milind steadied the innings. Milind contributed 16 runs before falling to Harish Thakur, who finished with figures of 3/40. Jaiswal then took charge, smashing an unbeaten 64 off 34 balls, which included one four and six sixes, to push the Aces to 213/6.
In response, the Diamonds had a poor start as CV Milind dismissed captain Tanmay Agarwal and Hrishikesh Simha for ducks in the opening over. Milind then removed Rahul Radesh for four in the third over, leaving the Diamonds struggling at 28/3.
Satwik Reddy then launched a fierce counterattack, hitting four consecutive sixes in an over that went for 28 runs. He scored the fastest half-century in Sreenidhi University TG20 League history, reaching the milestone in 16 balls. He was eventually dismissed by Ved Reddy for 63 off 27 balls.
Chandan Sahani kept the Diamonds in the hunt with a quick 38 off 17 balls, while Shubham Sharma anchored the latter half of the innings. Sahendra Mallu dismissed Sahani, and Milind claimed his fourth wicket by dismissing Narayana Teja.
Needing 17 runs in the final over, Shubham Sharma, who remained unbeaten on 53, hit consecutive boundaries off the first two balls. However, bowler Mahesh Vipparla conceded only four runs off the remaining deliveries to restrict the Diamonds to 205/9. CV Milind was named player of the match for his match-winning spell of 4/21.
