Anjaiah Nagar Building Collapse: Police Arrest Owner Syed Sajid

The Raidurgam police on Monday arrested building owner Syed Sajid in connection with the collapse of an under-construction building in Anjaiah Nagar. The incident, which occurred on Saturday, resulted in the deaths of two workers and left two others injured.

Following the fatal collapse, police registered a case against Sajid and contractor Khaja Moinuddin under Section 105 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

While Sajid was taken into custody, contractor Khaja Moinuddin remains absconding. Police confirmed that active efforts are underway to trace and apprehend Moinuddin.
