Amazon Web Services to Set Up Global AWS Builder Loft in Hyderabad

Amazon Web Services has selected Hyderabad as one of three new global locations to establish an AWS Builder Loft, setting up a dedicated permanent community space for local tech professionals, students, and developers.
The cloud computing giant announced that Hyderabad will join Berlin in Germany and Sao Paulo in Brazil in the latest expansion of the initiative. The three cities follow the model established in San Francisco, where AWS launched its first Builder Loft in July 2025.
The planned facility in Hyderabad will function as a collaborative hub offering free technical workshops, networking events, pitch nights, content creation areas, and co-working spaces. AWS noted that the expansion targets fast-growing developer cities that serve as essential talent and innovation centres for their respective regions.
According to AWS, the Hyderabad centre will provide Indian developers with a physical space to upskill in artificial intelligence, explore cloud-native architectures, and collaborate on building next-generation applications aimed at domestic and international markets.
David Nalley, director of Developer Experience at AWS, highlighted the company's focus on supporting the tech ecosystem through physical infrastructure. He stated that the spaces represent an investment back into the builder community, offering developers an environment to collaborate, learn, and create tangible solutions.
With artificial intelligence continuing to transform software development and various industries, AWS stated that the Builder Loft will serve as a physical destination where developers can access specialized technical expertise, exchange ideas, accelerate technological innovation, and bring practical solutions to market.
