AIMIM Worker Md Mahboob Ali Stabbed to Death in Hyderabad's Vattepally

A 60-year-old AIMIM party worker and real-estate agent, Md Mahboob Ali, was stabbed to death by a group of assailants near his residence in the Vattepally area of Hyderabad on Sunday night.
The incident occurred at around 10 pm when Ali went to Almas hotel, situated close to his residence, to buy food. While returning home from the hotel, he halted approximately 100 metres from his house to converse with an acquaintance.
As Ali was speaking with the individual, six people arrived at the spot on two motorcycles. The group quickly launched a sudden assault on Ali without any provocation. According to DCP Rajendranagar S Srinivas, the attackers stabbed Ali multiple times before fleeing the scene on their two-wheelers.
Local residents who witnessed the aftermath rushed Ali to a nearby hospital for emergency medical treatment. However, he succumbed to his stab injuries while undergoing treatment at around 10.45 pm.
Following the fatal attack, AIMIM MLC Mirza Riyaz Ul Hassan Effendi and Bahadurpura MLA Mohammed Mubeen visited the area. Effendi stated that Mahboob Ali served as the party's Vattepally area president and mentioned that family members suspect the involvement of a known person in the killing.
Police have identified a local resident, Mohsin, as the prime suspect in the case. Special police teams have been formed and have launched a manhunt to trace and arrest Mohsin along with the other accused involved in the murder.
