AIMIM Worker Mahboob Ali Stabbed to Death by Gang in Hyderabad's Vattepally

An AIMIM worker was stabbed to death by a group of men near his residence in the Vattepally area of Hyderabad on Sunday night, police said on Monday.
The victim, identified as Mahboob Ali, in his mid-50s, was attacked with knives by a group of five individuals. Ali sustained severe bleeding injuries during the assault and was rushed to a hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment.
According to preliminary findings by the police, the attackers were allegedly hired by a relative of the deceased. A police official said that the exact motive behind the murder is still being investigated.
Special police teams have been formed to track down the accused, who fled the scene immediately after the attack. Based on a complaint lodged by the deceased's son, a murder case was registered at the Falaknuma Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
Following the incident, AIMIM MLA Mohammed Mubeen visited Ali’s residence to offer condolences to the bereaved family. In a post on X, Mubeen expressed shock over the murder and demanded strict and immediate action against those responsible.
The MLA later visited the Falaknuma Police Station and urged authorities to arrest the culprits and ensure they are brought to justice. Mubeen also called on the Telangana government and Hyderabad Police to increase patrolling, crack down on anti-social elements, and take decisive action against violent crime and the drug menace.
