Actress Swathi Reddy Marries Filmmaker Sreekanth Naogoti in Hyderabad

Popular Hyderabad actress Swathi Reddy, who is widely recognized by her household name "Colors" Swathi, has officially announced her marriage to filmmaker Sreekanth Naogoti. The actress shared the news of the wedding directly through her official social media account, posting their wedding pictures online with a simple caption that read, "Married".

Her husband, Sreekanth Naogoti, is the director behind the 2023 emotional drama film Month of Madhu. This movie was a highly significant project for Swathi, as it marked her professional acting comeback to the silver screen after she had taken a multi-year hiatus from the movie industry.

This newly announced union marks the second marriage for the popular actress. Swathi was previously married to Vikas Vasu, a Malayali international pilot, with their wedding taking place in 2018. Following her first marriage, Swathi kept a very low profile and remained extremely private regarding her personal life.

Over the last couple of years, particularly around the time of her active re-entry into the cinema world, intense speculations began to emerge suggesting that the couple had quietly divorced. These rumours gained strength after she removed their photos from her social media accounts, leading to widespread public curiosity about her relationship status.

Swathi first established herself as a household name among Telugu film viewers through her roles in successful Tollywood movies like Ashtta Chemma, Swamy Ra Ra, and Karthikeya. In addition to her success in Telugu cinema, she also won widespread appreciation for her realistic acting in the Tamil film Subramanya Puram. She has successfully worked in both Tollywood and Kollywood with ease, making a distinct mark in both of these regional film industries.
