ACE Engineering College Team Wins LaunchPadX Hackathon at SNIST Hyderabad

A total of 1,034 students across 231 teams participated in LaunchPadX, a two-day National Innovation Hackathon 2026 organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology (SNIST) in Hyderabad. Team Rudra from ACE Engineering College emerged as the winner of the competition.

The 36-hour innovation event was designed to promote creativity, technical excellence, innovation, and entrepreneurial thinking among students. During the collaborative hackathon, participating teams worked to identify pressing real-world challenges and engineer innovative technology-driven solutions within a competitive environment.

A key highlight of LaunchPadX was the Rs 1,00,000 cash prize offered for the winning teams. Following intensive rounds of problem-solving and solution development, the Rudra team from ACE Engineering College took the top honors. The winning team members included Varshith Reddy Bokka, Harshith Varma P, Amith Bhanbhu, Seelam Srush Reddy, and Victor Issac Chintha.

The hackathon drew participation and support from academic leaders and industry representatives. Key attendees at the event included Rruve Manta, Global Chief Operating Officer, President and Board Member, and Sai Eshwar, Founder and CEO of Stud Lyf.

From the host institution SNIST, Principal Dr. C.H. Shiva Reddy, Head of Department Dr. Sirisha, Associate Head of Department Dr. Ramachandra, Associate Head of Department Dr. Mamatha, Dr. Dhamodhar, and Dr. Madhukar attended and oversaw the proceedings during the two-day hackathon.
