ACB Raids Uncover Rs 15-20 Crore Benami Lands Linked To Suspended DSP S Bheem Reddy

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has uncovered a network of benamidars, including a former home guard and a watchman, who are suspected of holding properties worth several crores of rupees on behalf of suspended Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) S Bheem Reddy. The discovery was made during recent ACB raids conducted at Bheem Reddy’s native village in Ibrahimbagh, Hyderabad, and 15 other locations.
The searches, which targeted the residence of Bheem Reddy and multiple other sites, led to the recovery of documents linked to approximately 48 acres of agricultural land registered under proxy names. According to ACB sources, the estimated market value of these properties ranges between Rs 15 crore and Rs 20 crore, exposing a major disproportionate assets case against the suspended officer.
A key figure in the alleged proxy network is a former home guard who worked directly under Bheem Reddy when the latter served as the DSP of Patancheru about four years ago. After serving under Bheem Reddy, the home guard resigned from his job and currently runs a gold business in Zaheerabad.
The ACB teams unearthed documents showing that the former home guard held multiple agricultural properties on behalf of the suspended DSP. These properties include 3.5 acres of agricultural land in Zaheerabad, six acres of agricultural land, and an additional 38 acres located in Karnataka near Zaheerabad.
In addition to the agricultural land, the searches at Bheem Reddy's native village in Ibrahimbagh and the other 15 locations also revealed documents relating to various plots and flats linked to the suspended officer. An unnamed watchman was also identified alongside the former home guard as one of the benamidars suspected of holding assets for Bheem Reddy.
The ACB's probe into the disproportionate assets case against the suspended DSP remains active as investigators continue to analyze the recovered files to trace the full extent of the property network.
