ACB Raids HMDA Chief Engineer B Ravinder in Disproportionate Assets Case

The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday conducted searches and raids at 12 locations across Telangana. The operations were carried out in connection with a disproportionate assets (DA) case registered against Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) Chief Engineer B Ravinder. Among the targeted locations was Ravinder's house located at Sumadhura Acropolis in Nanakramguda, Hyderabad.

The DA case was registered after an anti-graft probe found disproportionate assets allegedly belonging to the Chief Engineer. Following the registration of the case, the ACB initiated the searches to gather evidence.

A separate team of ACB sleuths was deployed to conduct the raids specifically at Ravinder's house at Sumadhura Acropolis in the Nanakramguda area of Hyderabad.

The raids across the 12 locations were carried out under the direct supervision of ACB Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Majid Ali Khan. The DSP supervised the teams of sleuths as they conducted the simultaneous operations in the designated areas.

The ongoing investigation is focused on gathering evidence regarding the alleged disproportionate assets belonging to the Chief Engineer. Further details regarding the searches and the findings of the anti-corruption bureau are currently awaited.
